  A Week Celebrating The Talented Darius McCrary

What do you get when you have two parties in one week filled with new upcoming music titled "Scars and Stripes", a brand new tv drama series created and directed by Craig Ross Jr's, "Monogamy", currently in production on BET's new movie "Fanatic", a live performance, series premiere, and the production  from Clinch Entertainment? It all adds up to one common denominator, the Multi Talented Entertainer, Actor, Artist, Musician, and Performer, DARIUS McCRARY himself.

Darius McCrary, Famous from his character as Eddie Winslow, on the number 1 syndicated tv show on ABC, Family Matters, has many multi-talents embedded into his DNA. Darius has appeared in  many hit movies and tv shows including the Young and The Restless, Next Day Air, Transformers, Saw VI, Mississippi Burning, and "Love Under New Management:The Miki Howard Story as Gerald Levert. Current alcalaids includes the chilling character of Otis Leecan on Fox's hit show "Star", John Singleton's "Snowfall" as Andre, and Craig Ross Jr's, "Monogamy" as Connor on UNC.


What the world may not know about Mr. McCrary is that he grew up in a musical talented family, stemming from his Father who was a musician, to his brother Donnie, Cousin Sammie, all the way down to the baby sister of the McCrary family, his sister Sarah. All in which played a major role in creating the highly anticipated debut album from Darius rightfully titled, "SCARS and STRIPES". Scars and Stripes is not just an album, music video, or tour, but a call to consciousness. It's takes like minded individuals on a journey to dare look and accept the world for what it is during these times, and to embrace this world in a conscious effort in bettering it through song. SCARS AND STRIPES

Darius McCrary Week set off Monday May 1st, 2018 as the entertainer was blessed to celebrate another year of life. Wednesday, May 2nd Darius leaned on the entertainment house, Clinch Entertainment and it"s Ceo, Michelle Stokes, to produce his birthday party/ album listening party. The event was held at Preux and Proper, voted 2017 Best Food in LA, off 8th and Spring Street in DTLA. Confirmed guest including DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers), Actress Nikki LaShae, Artist Ralph Tresvant Jr, Rufus Blaq, Super Producer G1, Celebrity Stylist Leisa Balfour (Prince, Darius McCrary), Jovan Dawkins Heritage Music Group (Faith Evans, Travis Barker, Swv, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx), Designer the the Stars Linda Stokes (Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Celine Dion, Jlo, Andre 3000, Cell Green, Chris Brown, Magic Johnson), and a host of family and friends.

Friday May 4th, was Part II of Darius McCrary's Masquerade Birthday/Viewing Party of Craig Ross Jr's, Monogamy, produced by Michelle Stokes for Clinch Entertainment. The invite only event was held at LA's newest party headquarters, Aerial. The red carpet masquerade/viewing party didn't disappoint. The party included specialty appetizers from Celebrity Chef, Nikita Leone of "Italian Soul Catering", Dessert Bar provided by Tamara for "Sugar and Spyked", three tiered birthday cake from Treasure Box Cakery by Shakina Elder, Photo Booth by Octavion Berry's Exquisite Photo Booth, and the sexy touch of a mobile popcorn machine for the Monogamy viewing. Special thanks to Charles Singleton and the Treimage family for making this come together, Media Krischan Miller and Lekeisha "Keisha Cali" for holding down our Red Carpet, Uncle Robin Wartell (Personal Security), and The 86ers for their amazing bar service. Guest included the Monogamy family Craig Ross Jr, Caryn Ward Ross, Producer Kimberly Ogletree, Cast Member Actor Brian J. White hosted the viewing of Monogamy followed by Q&A. The live show segment was set off by Derrick Kinsey aka Frequency Pusher, debuted his hot new single "Street Life" featuring J-Doe, co-produced with no other  then Dr. Dre, and new comer Kolby Cordell hit the stage with his iTunes released single "Ridiculous". The beautiful and one of thee beat vocalist on earth, Shanice Wilson, sang a duet with Darius before belting out the infamous, "I LoveYour Smile". Darius closed out the show debuting four, never heard before singles from his upcoming "Scars and Stripes" collective to his live band featuring members of his family. Dj's Darrius "Disco" McFarley, and Celebrity Guest Dj Actor/Producer Flex Alexander kept the guest dancing to the hottest and latest hit records. Thanks to Craig Ross Jr, Brian White, UNC Network, and the entire Monogamy team.

Celebrity Guest included Kerry Gordy, Jovan Dawkins, Mad Lion, Mark Anthony (Young Soo), Jon Jon (Troop), Phantom Records CEO Big John Sims, Ski Maguire Ortiz (Roc Nation), Cisco Reyes (Actor), Herb Bohannon, Jejuan Smith (Atlanta FX's), Dr Norris Dorsey (Dorsey Academy), Lynea (LB) Bell (PR), Pilot Jones (Glee), Jacob Williams (The Shade Room), Papa Snoop (Snoop Dogg), just to name a few.

A beautiful E Motor Bike was presented and gifted to Darius during the event from the owners of Aerial, Chris, AB, Alex, Brandon and Derrick Kinsey. The night was filled with great entertainment, great new tv series, amazing food, fresh live music, and a great night that still have people talking!
