Take one of the music industries most eclectic, creative, and influential artistic entertainers and mix that very same individual with a unique, fashion rebel who makes his own rules when it comes to style and you get Andre 3000, 1. 5 of the Grammy Award winning duo OutKast. Andre's stomping grounds of Atlanta, GA could contest to his deep grass roots of music, art , and fashion.

During the birth of the now exhibited fashion statement, I couldn't quite figure out why Andre was ordering the same jumpsuit, 47 times, in the same color, black. Once the decision was made to which certain quotes (which were strategically thought of by Andre himself), and after seeing his words applied to the clothing by my mother, one word.... #GENUIS

Andre wore the 47 jumpsuits during the OutKast Reunion Tour which kicked off on opening night of this years Cochella Festival. All 47 pieces are now being displayed at Art Basel Gallery in Miami which is featured in Complex Magazine. Recognition from R&B sensation Miguel photographed at the art gallery which was posted on the artist instagram, proved to be liked by his many fans.

On November 25th, 2014 ABC broadcasted "Dancing With The Stars" 2014 Season Finale. Oscar and Grammy award winning actress, Jennifer Hudson aka JHUD, took to the stage to perform amongst the stars. JHUD known for her distinctive, sultry, R&B vocal style has certainly been making major fashion statements. Styled by celebrity wardrobe guru, Eric Archibald, Team JHUD decided to step out in a custom LSO designed (Linda Stokes) Cream lace and Swarovski crystal encrusted mini dress. Jennifer's outfit couldn't have been completed without her lace booties by famed designer GianVito Rossi which was custom crystallized by yours truly. Not only does the lady sound good but her style has fashion lovers around the world turning heads.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the evening featured some of music's hottest performers and equally fashion industry trendsetters. Celebrities alike from Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Miranda Lambert, Rita Ora, Pitbull, and Duran Duran just to name a few. My focused was on this one particular American Idol, Mother, Actress turned Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson. Styled by her longtime celebrity wardrobe stylist, Eric Archibald, Jhud's sexy, edgy, fierce style, exudes high fashion effortlessly. Jennifer's shorts we're custom made by my mother Linda Stokes of "LSO DESIGNS". The infamous shorts which took 3 days to complete, was completely beaded and crystallized by my daughter Milan Stokes, and Myself, by hand. The royal color palette in the shorts consisted of various Swarovski Crystals such as aurum, dorado's, topaz, pearls, and gold studs. Team work makes the dream work...... That's my families motto that we live by. Being taught by one of the Hottest Designers of our generation LINDA STOKES of LSO DESIGNS, was a little girls dream. With my mom's GOD given talents, clients includes (Celine Dion, Cher, Gwen Stefani, Kobe Bryant, Steven Tyler, Andre 3000, Jlo, Usher and Magic Johnson, just to name a few) and my perfectionist eye for detail, clients Chris Brown, Britany Spears, Faith Hill and more, the Stokes women are an unstoppable combination. Fittingly, I've been given the nickname of Eagle Eye and The Crystal Queen, in which I gladly accept the throne. My mother (Linda Stokes) has been designing and making clothes since the age of 14. Although I didn't bite the designing bug until well after my dancing career, I've always been influenced by many facets of the fashion business. My mom made my sister's and I clothing as little girls. We would shop for the fabric, and watch her bring the outfit to life!

Upon having my daughter MILAN CHRISTIAN DIOR, who is now in her final year at the Art Institution of Hollywood, Milan too has caught the fashion bug. Milan went from playing in my mom's crystal's at the mere age of four, towards graduating with a degree this year in fashion design. Three generations of fashion that flows through our bloodline, makes for a family of FABULOSITY.

 During the 2014 Red Carpet Fashion's for the MTV VMA's, some celebrities chose to be talked about and some deserved to be TALKED about. Dancer, turned Singer/Actress  Jlo sparkled in a crystallized  metallic Charbel Zoe dress which lit up the evening.

Beyonce stands by her name given by her better half, music mogul JAY Z, "The Hottest Chick In The Game". Beyonce Knowles is the epitome of Style, Grace, and Class when it comes to walking down the red carpet. Queen Bey arrived wearing a beaded Nicolas Jebran designed black lace and beaded gown. Performing in nothing short of Tom Ford colored mirrored body suit. When is comes to rocking the hottest and latest designer's.... "HAIL TO THE QUEEN".

Nicki Minaj 1960's inspired cut, sequined leopard printed snakeskin mini dress paired up perfectly with her new natural toned down appearance. The Saint Laurent, one of my favorite's, just so happens to be from the Fall 2014 collection. Great choice for the VMA's... Chic, Vibrant, and Sexy.

One of my least favorite red carpet designs of this years VMA's would have to be the All American Girl, Taylor Swift. I'm not sure if her converting from country music turned pop stress has changed her taste of clothing or she just had a very cloudy mirror and bad yes men convincing her of her fabulosity. I pride myself on my clients wearing the clothes instead of the clothes wearing the client. To say the least, Taylor you would normally receive a ''HOT'', but 2014 you strolled in a "NOT".

Amber Rose, Amber Rose, Amber Rose....... What we're you thinking? Or not thinking? I can't actually call it a dress because their wasn't any fabric. The nearly naked, silver chain cover up by Laurel DeWitt was just that, something to cover her bikini up. If attention was what she was aiming for, she got exactly what she wished. That would of actually won my vote had it been worn at a pool party in the Hollywood Hills, Rehab in Las Vegas, or even featured in her husband's Rapper (Wiz Khalifa's) music video laying out by a pool scene.

 The 2014 BET Awards we're full of A list celebrities and Entertainers of all sorts. The 2014 awards was hosted by comedian/actor Chris Rock, who's comedic punchline's never fell short of a great laugh. Opening this years awards came from the artist that proved to have this years catchiest song, "HAPPY" performed by Pharrell Williams. Pharrell later surprised the audience with music innovator Missy Elliott. In my opinion, this years awards had some of this best performances to date. Usher Raymond served a medley of his hit records and ended his set with his hot new single, "Good Kisser " as he proved to the world that his mark as a overall talent has been solidified. While newcomer August Alsina , whom left home with his first two awards ever, collaborated with two of r&b's heart throb's Chis Brown and Trey Songz.

Nicki Minaj took home "Best Female Rapper" for the 5th time, performing her new single, "Pills and Potions" from her upcoming album titled "The Pink Print". One of my favorite performance of the evening was from my favorite singer John Legend (You and I) who assisted Jhene Aiko (The Worst), who's taking the music industry by storm with her beautiful vocal tones. The stage was also blessed with a comeback performance by Chris Brown performing smash hit "LOYAL" with Lil Wayne and Tyga. TI raps new single with Iggy Azalea and Iggy finishing off the show with her hit "Fancy". Best  Female Gospel Award went to Tamela Mann.

Jennifer Hudson has gained grave reviews for her black leather pleaded mini dress which was custom designed by my mother, Celebrity Fashion Guru, Linda Stokes of LSO Designs. The Tribute to Lionel Richie, whom received the Lifetime Achievement Award, was deserving. The tribute to those who have transitioned over in 2014 from the Bobby Womack piece, to Phylicia Rashad classy tribute to Maya Angelou and Ruby Dee, was heartfelt. Sealed with a satellite performance of the industries hottest couple, Jay Z and Beyonce's ON THE RUN TOUR.

The (NDC)10 Year Anniversary Celebration was held at the Glendale Hilton Hotel Rooftop on Saturday, June 14th Hosted By Clinch Entertainment, proved to be as royal as the color scheme of the event itself. Dr. Norris Rashe Dorsey( Norris Dorsey Consulting) and Clinch Entertainment's CEO and Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist Michelle Stokes, brought out a rooftop full of family, friends, clients, colleagues, and students from the various colleges and Entrepreneurs from different market segments that Dr. Dorsey lends his business expertise to.

Celebrating 10 years of being in the consulting business, Dr. Dorsey had plenty of support with proceeds benefiting the scholarship of business entrepreneurs students and the launch of Dorsey School of Business. The location was provided by longtime friend and general manager of the Glendale Hilton, Joe Titizian while The California Endowment provided sponsorship to help future entrepreneurs healthy workshops along with support from Sam's Club Sylmar 6625 and The Walmart Foundation. The popular lemon pepper, louisiana rub, and garlic parmesan wings we're provided by the owner of the famous franchise Wingstop of Tarzana, Northridge, Canoga Park, and Culver City Los Angeles location's, Robin Kirksey. 

Top shelf Cigars (Padron /Ashton / Oliva) was sponsored by Entrepreneur Ellie Hepburn of Elnet Maritime and provided by The Cigar Warehouse in Sherman Oaks, Ca. The music entertainment was provided by The School Tour, snacks provided by One Stop Smoke Shop's business owner DeAndre Watkins, and Hookah provided by SoCal Smoke Shop in North Hills, Ca. Just Rite Community Programs contributed items for our Father's Day gift basket and Vita Coco provided a healthy treat within each gift bags.
