Made For Swarovski
Thursday October 20th, 2016 Swarovski Crystal held their 2017/18 Launch exhibit at the savvy Los Angeles Arts District, Avery Dennison. My mother, Iconic Fashion Designer Linda Stokes was asked to create a piece to be displayed for this years event. As mom created the black mesh ambiance, my daughter rookie fashion designer Milan C Dior Stokes and I encrusted the luxury jumpsuit with various sizes of Swarovski crystals ranging from size 10 all the way up to size 40.
The jumpsuit was patterned using an ombre effect, blending the various sizes of crystals to create the gradual hue of shades from light to dark while only using 3 shades of crystals from the same color family.
This masterpiece took a mere two and a half days to complete with minimal sleep! I love the process of taking a mere piece of fabric, sewn together, encrusted the the most beautiful crystals from Australia, and turn it into a fashion PIECE OF ART! To walk into the Avery Dennison location, which was chosen for this years launch and to see the mannequin fitted, was beauty to my eyes.
One of the theme this year for Swarovski's collection was the "Party Spirit". We created a piece for the savvy socialite that wanted the feel of a rock star without really being one. I loved how Swarovski paired the jumpsuit with a bold, hip, motorcycle style leather cropped jacket covered with grommets and spikes to give it a more edgy feel.
Amazingly, This can be created for just about anyone. The mesh is a four way stretch fabric so that it can easily convert to various shapes and sizes. Definitely one of those outfits fit for a Queen and will stand the test of fashion time. For All Inquiries please email lsodesigns@mac.com

1st Family of Fashion Royal Prince Maasai's Baby Shower July 30th, 2016
When the first family of fashion's celebrity designer Linda Stokes of LSO Designs and Ceo Michelle Stokes of Clinch Entertainment comes together to throw the baby of the bunch, Milan Christian Dior (Euphoric GOLD, Cruise Couture) a baby shower for her 1st bundle of joy, Maasai with Christopher M... It's nothing short of an Royal Event!!!!
Each guest was required to wear Baby Blue, Cream, or Gray Color scheme. Designer and Future Great Grandma, Linda Stokes custom made 1/2 of the families pieces for the royal occasion including the mother and father to be, daughter's Michelle and Nikita, Cousin Reha's, Aunt Sherry's, Close family friends Tatia Calhoun, Dr. Deborah Hyde, and of course her very own couture one-of-a-kind creation. Guest were given unique gifts for the BEST Dressed and baby games such as Swarovski Crystal Wine Glasses, Custom Leather and Mink Fur Writing Pens by Ambiance by Bernadette, Cuban Cigars to a Gucci Inspired Silver Platter.
Guest danced to the sounds of family Dj Jalen "DJ LISTO" Stokes. The five star menu was prepared by my sister Chef Nikita Leone of "Italian Soul Catering". The gourmet course included Seared Salmon with lemon butter sauce, Chicken Bruschetta, Rice Pilaf, Sautéed Mixed Vegetables, Spring Salad with Fresh Strawberries and a Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, Fresh Fruit, to Nikita's infamous mouth watering Crab Cakes.
The dessert bar featured mini sweet potato pies, mini pound cakes and mini lemon bars provided by Leniece Nichols. The White Peach/Blueberry Cobblers were made by Kitchen Magician. Homemade chocolates designed in baby bottles and rattles by Nonna Leone, NOTHIN BUNDT CAKES provided by the franchise owners Tamika and Clinton Stokes (Sherman Oaks, CA) and assorted Blueberry Jelly Beans, Lollipops, and Sour Candies to top off the assorted candy bar.
You couldn't have a party without the custom designed cocktails by famed Mixologist Victoria Matthews of "Victoria Secret Cocktails". Speciality Drinks included the Christopher Milan and THE MAASAI.
The beautiful floral arrangements we're provided and designed by Celebrity Event Planner Gary Hill. Choice of flowers including Blue Hydrangeas,White Roses, Dahlias, Baby Breath, and my favorite Orchids.
When it came down to choosing a bakery I decided to keep the family tradition going. The butter pound cake with a light key lime filling tasted just as amazing as it appeared. It was close to the heart being that Sharon custom made my baby shower cake when I was pregnant with Milan as well as catering her very first birthday party.
What other way to welcome the newest member of our family into the world but to welcome him with style, grace, and an abundance of LOVE.

Feather Farewell Jennifer Lopez Performance set American Idol 2016
As we say goodbye to the final season of American Idol after 15 amazing seasons on FOX, the groundbreaking reality based competition show will not be forgotten, as it was viewed by merely 13.3 million viewers. Making stars such as season's 1's winner Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, and Kris Allen just to name a few. The two day finale show brought out amazing past winners, celebrities, and well as announcing the last and final winner, Trent Harmon.
Being apart of fashion history has been apart of my families DNA. Being asked to be apart of the 2016 American Idol Farewell Season was an amazing experience. Thanks to celebrity fashion stylist Shawn Barton for this fabulous referral. Creating pieces for Jennifer Lopez from historic music videos, to her past NBC special has been great but my mom, my daughter and myself being able to create HISTORY is a feeling that will live with me for a lifetime. I wanted to show how I love creating magic using beautiful fabrics, feather's that we're flown in from New York. To costumes were embellished with the most beautiful crystals in the world, SWAROVSKI. Cut, sew, crystallize, to the finished project make FABULOUSNESS.So just as the AMERICAN IDOL series comes to an end and it is forever tatted into the history books, so will Jennifer Lopez's memorable performance from the set, to the routine, to the luxurious lavender dancers wardrobe created by my family of fashion #LindaStokes #MilanCDior #Myself #NeverHaveYourCoffeeWithoutTheCream #CoffeeWithCream #MichelleStokes #ClinchBranded #ClinchEntertainment #LSODesigns #LindaStokes #MilanChristainDiorStokes #EuphoricGOLD #CruiseCouture #AMERICANIDOL #AmericanIdolFarewellSeason #JenniferLopez #ShawnBarton #FOX #DolbyTheatre #2016 #Fashion #Celebrities #Wardrobe #Designers #Vogue #Historic #Fabulousness #CustomMade #Official #Lavender #Feathers #Swarovski #Style #Performance #DesignerToTheStars #BornFly #Jlo Follow Me +Michelle Stokes #IG @michellestokes @clinchent @cruisecouture #Twitter @indiangirl711 #Facebook #MICHELLESTOKES #ClinchBranded

It's that time again, The 73rd Annual Golden Globes Awards we're held this evening January 10th, 2016, at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Although many of us are obsessed with the artistry and the winners of the Golden Globes, which ultimately sets the winners for the Oscars, the world is also fascinated by it's fashion sense of style. Actress/Singer Jennifer Lopez never let's us fashion lovers down. In 2016, Lady Lopez rocks this beautiful canary yellow caped, one sided split, GIAMBATTISTA VALLI gown. It's paired with Canary yellow diamond jewelry and a red jeweled clutch to ride along. JLO definitely always keeps it classy and classic, which set her apart from the rest when it's comes to "Best Dressed".
Legendary Actress and Advocate Jane Fonda (PICTURED LEFT)
Looks absolutely stunning in this YVES SAINT LAURENT COUTURE by Hedi Silmane. I love the way the fabric lays perfectly on the perfect model. Some may not be a fan of the big riffled tier top portion of this dress but with Fonda's hair pinned up and the right length earrings, I felt that this look was well put together for the Golden Globes and legendary actress.

Maggie Gyllenhaal/Marc Jacobs
My disappointments for this years Golden Globes goes to EMPIRE Star Taraji P. Henson in STELLA McCARTNEY, Regina King in Designer Unknown and Maggie Gyllenhaal in a printed MARC JACOBS design. As Taraji Character Cookie's style on her hit show "Empire" is full of life, I felt that her choice for the Golden Globes was best suited for a simple night out. I'm feeling the phase "DULL" to be exact.
I'm not sure what look actress Regina King was trying to capture with this look, but this particular design made her aged. The chiffon cape attached took away the elegance of the dress and I wasn't particularly fond of her stylists choice of shoe. This look had way too much going on for my liking.
Although I'm a big fan of the black and gold color combination, I'm not sure that this particular MARC JACOBS printed designed fabric, along with the flower on the shoulder complimented actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. I would of preferred a more subtle printed fabric for the actress.
